More information:
- Absolute Beginners are always welcome.
There are special Absolute Beginners Courses
that (usually) start in January, April and September at each venue.
- Salsa is said to be great exercise.
It gives you a gentle work out to help you keep fit.
Lots of Dancers with New Forest Salsa have decided it is a lot more fun than going to the gym!
- Duncan, the Principal Teacher with New Forest Salsa started out as a DJ.
As a teacher he uses his knowledge of latin music to select music that has simpler structures
so it is better for Absolute Beginners to learn to.
He also knows some of the best music for Improvers to dance to and for everyone to
enjoy during social dancing time.
- You don't need previous experience of dancing, and it is
danced in an improvisational way so you don't need to memorise routines.
(Meet Duncan to find out more.)
- As well as learning something new,
getting some exercise and hearing some great music...
coming to an evening of Salsa is also a great way to meet people
and a great way to go to work the next day with a smile on your face!
We look forward to seeing you soon.
